Overview

Robyn Mohr counsels clients on complex issues related to data privacy, digital marketing, advertising and e-commerce. She advises on everything from interest-based and addressable advertising, data analytics, location-based tracking, smart devices and wearables, to the use of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, VR and AR and facial recognition.

Robyn routinely represents clients in a variety of industries, including consumer products, telecommunications, hospitality and entertainment. Drawing on her regulatory background, Robyn works with clients to design their privacy programs and operationalize U.S. and international privacy and data security requirements, including state privacy laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA), the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, as well as other advertising, marketing and consumer protection laws including the FTC Act, the Telephone Consumer Privacy Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act and automatic renewal laws.

Leveraging her prior in-house experience and product counseling roles, Robyn also reviews brand websites and mobile apps for privacy law compliance issues and prepares website and mobile app terms of use on behalf of clients. 

Robyn contributes her time to a number of community service projects.
