Agnieszka (Agnes) Kawecki advises high net worth individuals and families on all aspects of estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, as well as estate and trust administration. She works closely with clients to develop and implement sophisticated, tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies designed to preserve and protect family wealth for future generations while achieving clients’ personal, business and philanthropic objectives.
Agnes is experienced in advising clients at all stages of wealth accumulation and preservation, from young professionals and business founders to established families managing large businesses and complex estates. She counsels clients on a wide range of wealth transfer strategies, including grantor retained annuity trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, intra-family asset transfers and sales to trusts. Agnes’ practice includes drafting comprehensive estate plans, designing and implementing lifetime gifting strategies, and handling post-death estate administration.
Agnes regularly counsels clients on philanthropic matters, including formation and operation of charitable organizations and structuring and negotiating charitable gifts.
