Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of two leading Private Client lawyers, Agnieszka (Agnes) Kawecki and Soffia Kuehner Gray, who join the firm’s Chicago office.

Kawecki advises high net worth individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning matters, including wealth transfer planning, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax issues, and post-death estate administration. She works with clients to develop customized estate plans and implement complex wealth transfer strategies. She also has significant experience advising clients on a variety of philanthropic issues, including the formation and operation of foundations and the structuring and negotiation of large charitable gifts.
Kuehner Gray works with clients on designing complex estate plans, drafting irrevocable trusts and organizing private trust company structures for long-term family governance. She advises on wealth transfers involving specialized assets, administers estates valued up to $1 billion, handles IRS and probate matters, develops privacy strategies for high-profile clients, and prepares premarital and gift agreements.

Kawecki earned her J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and her B.A. from Saint Xavier University. Kuehner Gray earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, her M.A. from Johns Hopkins University and her B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Both join from McDermott Will & Schulte, where they both began their legal careers.
