New York, NY (June 8, 2026) – Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of Angelo Grasso, a leading trust and estates litigator, who joins the firm’s Private Client group in the New York office. Grasso’s addition continues the firm’s strategic expansion of its nationally recognized Private Client platform as demand grows for sophisticated counsel on complex wealth, fiduciary and family governance matters.
Grasso brings nearly 25 years of experience helping high net worth individuals, families, and fiduciaries navigate disputes over wills, trusts, and inheritances. He also regularly advises clients in connection with guardianship cases. Grasso has extensive courtroom experience, having served as lead counsel on trials in Surrogate’s and Supreme Court, and having argued appeals in the Appellate Division.
“Angelo adds sophisticated litigation expertise to our nationally recognized private client litigation bench,” said Cristine Sapers, co-chair of Loeb & Loeb’s Private Client department. “He is a recognized leader who deftly handles the complex and sensitive disputes that our clients increasingly face today. His practice integrates seamlessly with ours and further enhances our ability to provide comprehensive counsel to our clients.”
Grasso is an active leader in the trusts and estates bar, serving as the immediate past Chair of the Trusts and Estates Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, and past chair of the New York City Bar Association’s Trusts, Estates and Surrogate’s Court Committee. In 2020, he was named a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, where he serves on the Fiduciary Litigation, State Laws, and Programs Committees.
“Loeb & Loeb has one of the premier private client practices in the country,” said Grasso. “I have known the firm and its lawyers for many years and have tremendous respect for the caliber of work and the collaborative approach they bring to every matter. I am excited to join the team and look forward to working with colleagues across the platform.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Angelo to the firm to help support our work for this significant market,” said Laurie Ruckel, New York office managing partner. “His addition is an important step in expanding and strengthening the private client services we offer clients in the region and reinforces the firm’s continued investment in this strategically important practice area.”
In the last 18 months, Loeb & Loeb has added over 25 partners, associates and senior counsel to its Private Client group and opened a new office in Tysons, Virginia, anchored by members of the Private Client team. The continued investment reflects the firm’s long-term strategy to expand its capabilities in a rapidly evolving area.
Grasso earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from Columbia University. He joins from Greenfield Stein & Senior, LLP.
