Loeb & Loeb Expands San Francisco Office With Veteran Litigator Andy Hutchison

Loeb & Loeb LLP announced today that Andrew M. Hutchison joined the firm’s San Francisco office as a partner in the Litigation department. His practice focuses on complex commercial and business matters across a wide range of subject matter areas, including general commercial, employment, class action, professional liability and intellectual property, among others.

Hutchison has helped clients resolve commercial and business tort litigation involving allegations ranging from breach of contract to defamation and fraud; defended consumer protection and privacy class actions relating to unfair competition, false advertising and fair labeling statutes, as well as shareholder actions; represented clients in complex professional liability matters; and litigated high-stakes patent, copyright and trademark disputes. Hutchison appears in federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels.

“Andy is a veteran litigator who is well-known and regarded in California, said David Grossman, co-chair of Loeb & Loeb’s Litigation department. “His incredibly diverse litigation depth strengthens our capabilities and will enable us to serve an even wider range of clients on the West Coast and across the country.”

“San Francisco is a growing and important market for us. By adding Andy to our team, we are well positioned to meet the uptick in demand here,” said Nicole Webb, a partner in Loeb & Loeb’s San Francisco office. “We are thrilled to welcome him to our office.”

Loeb continues its steady hiring campaign on the litigation front. Hutchison’s addition comes on the heels of Michael Donner's arrival to the firm’s Litigation department in San Francisco in March, making him the seventh litigator overall to join Loeb & Loeb this year following the arrivals of Tim Warnock, Lauren Fried, John Gatti, Devin Donohue and Thomas Lombardi.

“The Loeb team is incredibly seasoned and represents clients across every major industry in highly complex matters,” said Hutchison. “They are strong advocates for their clients and I am thrilled to join this talented group.”

Hutchison is a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of San Francisco. He earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University where he graduated cum laude and he earned his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law. He joins the firm from Cozen O’Connor.
