Five Loeb Partners Recognized in "Legal Impact Report" by Variety for 2026

Loeb & Loeb is proud to share that Arash Khalili, co-chair of the firm; Scott Edel, chair of the Entertainment department; Anne Kennedy McGuire, deputy chair of the Entertainment department and chair of the firm’s Podcast industry group; David Grossman, co-chair of the Litigation department; and Litigation partner John Gatti have been honored in Variety's "Legal Impact Report" for 2026. The annual report honors the media and entertainment industry’s most impactful legal advisors for their leadership and influence amid an evolving technological, economic and creative landscape. 

In an accompanying profile, the honorees are spotlighted for representing clients on some of the most significant transactions and disputes in the entertainment industry over the past year. On the transactional side, Arash is noted for advising Big Loud Records on the sale of a minority stake in Morgan Wallen’s catalog to Chord Music, while Anne is noted for her work advising Oprah Winfrey on deals related to documentaries, books and television specials. On the litigation side, David is highlighted for successfully securing a summary judgment for NBCUniversal in a copyright infringement action, and John is highlighted for handling multiple disputes on behalf of the estate of Jimmy Buffett.
