Loeb Represents Tyler “Ninja” Blevins in Joining GamesSquare as Chief Innovation Officer

Loeb & Loeb represented iconic content creator, professional gamer and streaming superstar Tyler “Ninja” Blevins in joining the gaming and esports company GameSquare as its Chief Innovation Officer.

According to Variety, Ninja will lead the company’s growth efforts, including launching Ninja Labs, a creative and strategic incubator under the GameSquare umbrella. Ninja Labs will curate disruptive strategies, pursue new business opportunities, and explore next-gen technologies to accelerate the industry’s growth within pop culture. With the support of GameSquare’s merchandising, marketing, and content creation resources, Ninja Labs will serve as an innovation pipeline for the research and development of consumer products, original IP and more. In addition, GameSquare partners will be able to leverage Ninja Labs for future collaborations to connect with young consumers.

"When I think about the gaming space and innovation, I think Ninja. He is known as the godfather of the space," Justin Kenna, CEO of GameSquare, told Newsweek.

The Loeb deal team that represented Ninja included Arash Khalili, co-chair of the firm’s Capital Markets & Corporate practice and Sports industry practice; Advanced Media & Technology partner Bess Morgan; Corporate partner Mike Grossman and associate Ryan Kashfian.
