Loeb & Loeb LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected as winner of the Turnaround M&A Atlas Awards 2017 ‘Corporate Turnaround of the Year’ award for transactions valued between $1 billion and $2.5 billion. The firm was recognized for its role in the complex financial restructuring of C&J Energy Services Ltd.
Partner Bernard (Barney) R. Given II led the Loeb & Loeb team serving as co-counsel to C&J, a leading provider of well construction and oilfield services in the U.S. and Canada, in its voluntary reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The reorganization implemented a Restructuring Support Agreement that C&J executed with its lenders, substantially deleveraging the company’s balance sheet and allowing for the elimination of approximately $1.4 billion in existing debt. The Loeb & Loeb team acting on behalf of C&J also included partners Lance Jurich, Curtis W. Bajak and Daniel Besikof.
Loeb & Loeb, together with fellow honorees, will be celebrated at the 9th Annual Restructuring + Distressed Investing Agenda and Turnaround Atlas Awards, which will take place at the Metropolitan Club of New York on April 4th. Click here for more information.
