Overview

Michelle Albrecht focuses her practice on estate tax and gift tax planning for high net worth individuals and families. Her practice includes estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, as well as estate and trust administration.

Michelle works with clients to develop and implement sophisticated estate plans to maximize the transfer of wealth to future generations in a tax-efficient way. She has extensive experience drafting traditional wills and revocable trusts, as well as lifetime gifting techniques such as dynasty trusts, intentionally defective grantor trusts and limited liability companies. She also prepares prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and serves as an estate planning expert in matrimonial matters, including testifying as an expert witness in divorce cases. Michelle represents executors, trustees and beneficiaries during the administration of estates and trusts. In addition, she advises clients with respect to their charitable giving and assists with the formation of private foundations.
