Overview
Greg Rupert has more than 25 years of experience counseling high net worth individuals and families and closely held businesses on federal tax matters, with an emphasis on estate planning and business succession. Greg also advises on international tax issues and general business matters, often in connection with complex estate and trust planning strategies.
Greg has extensive experience working with clients on a diverse range of tax, estate and business planning matters, including estate freezing techniques, strategic gift planning using valuation discounts, generation-skipping transfer tax matters, and the design, administration and taxation of trusts and estates. He also counsels on the formation and structuring of closely held corporations and partnerships, partner and shareholder agreements, insurance and asset protection planning, cross-border estate and gift tax issues involving resident aliens, deferred charitable giving strategies, and the resolution of federal tax controversies.
