Overview
Katie Kronick focuses her practice on estate planning, administration and related tax matters. She advises high net worth individuals, families and owners of closely held businesses on gift and estate tax planning, trust administration, wealth transfer planning, charitable giving and business succession planning. Her practice includes drafting trusts, wills and other sophisticated estate planning instruments, as well as structuring and implementing tax-efficient lifetime gifts and administering estates designed to advance clients’ personal, business and philanthropic goals. She also advises on complex estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax issues and on entity formation and governance. In addition, Katie brings experience representing clients in mediation, negotiating settlement agreements and executing court‑ordered resolutions in matters involving trust instruments, as well as assisting fiduciaries in the administration of contested trusts.
