Mary Bassi focuses on marketing, promotions, advertising, trademark, copyright, privacy and other intellectual property matters. The marketing and promotions aspect of her practice involves advising clients on sweepstakes, contests, sponsorship agreements, advertising clearance/claim substantiation, social media, and user-generated content.
Mary regularly assists agency and brand clients with clearance and claim substantiation. She also has experience negotiating sales and marketing agreements, advertising and media technology agreements, as well as talent, sponsorship and licensing agreements. Additionally, she has experience with trademark portfolio management and internet domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy.
As a student at the University of Dayton, Mary was a four year member and two-time Captain of the Women’s Division-1 Varsity Golf Team.
