Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce that Bankruptcy & Restructuring partner Bethany Simmons has been named a 2026 “Rising Star” at the 8th Annual Americas Rising Star Dealmakers Awards, presented as part of Global M&A Network’s 18th Annual M&A Atlas Awards.
The award recognizes exceptional dealmakers under the age of 40 across the private equity, growth investing, lending, M&A and restructuring sectors in North and South America. Honorees are selected for their achievements, dedication and talent in closing value-creating transactions. Bethany and her fellow honorees were celebrated at an awards gala in New York City on July 23, 2026.
Bethany represents clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcies, out-of-court restructurings and complex commercial litigation across a range of industries. She advises on all phases of the restructuring process, including emergency relief, asset sales, financing, plan negotiations, contested matters and appeals. An experienced trial attorney and skilled negotiator, Bethany also handles sophisticated business disputes in federal and state courts and frequently helps clients achieve efficient resolutions through mediation. She was also named to the American Bankruptcy Institute’s “40 Under 40” list in 2025.
