Loeb Team Highlighted in Am Law Litigation Daily’s “Litigators of the Week”

A Loeb & Loeb team led by Litigation partner Joshua Hollander received a shout-out in the Am Law Litigation Daily’s “Litigators of the Week” feature after securing a key victory on behalf of the Seventh Regiment Armory Conservancy, Inc. (the Conservancy), the nonprofit that operates the historic Park Avenue Armory in Manhattan under a 99-year lease with the State of New York.

U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels issued an order on Nov. 25, 2025, blocking the enforcement of a recently enacted New York law that would have required the Conservancy to provide at least 1,200 square feet of Armory space to the Knickerbocker Greys, an after-school program. Judge Daniels held that the Conservancy is likely to succeed on its Contracts Clause challenge, finding that requiring dedicated space for the Greys “would substantially impair the Conservancy’s contracted property rights under the Lease.”

The Loeb team representing the Conservancy is led by Litigation partner Joshua E. Hollander and includes Litigation senior counsel Katie Gauthier and Litigation associate Jacob M. Sievers.
