Six Loeb Partners Honored in Variety’s 2025 “Music Legal Elite” List

Loeb & Loeb is pleased to share that John Frankenheimer, chair of the firm’s Music industry group; Derek Crownover, vice chair of the Music industry group and Nashville co-office administrative partner; Debbie White, vice chair of the Music industry group; Tiffany Dunn, Nashville co-office administrative partner; and Entertainment partners Ken Kraus and Monika Tashman have been selected for inclusion in the 2025 “Music Legal Elite" list by Variety. The annual report spotlights lawyers orchestrating the music industry’s biggest moves—from chart-topping catalog deals and arena-filling tours to high-profile brand partnerships and artificial intelligence issues.

In an accompanying profile, John, Debbie, Ken and Monika are spotlighted as a powerhouse quartet behind some of the biggest names in music. John and Ken are recognized for their work with legendary artists like Bob Seger and Diana Ross, and for representing Nashville label Big Loud in the sale of a minority stake in Morgan Wallen’s master recording catalog to Chord Music Partners. Debbie and Monika are lauded for their star-studded client rosters: Debbie represents icons such as The Who, Duran Duran, Christina Aguilera and K-pop entertainment giant HYBE, while Monika’s clients span from Latin music stars Aventura and Romeo Santos to Blondie, Debbie Gibson and Papa Roach.

In addition, Derek and Tiffany are highlighted as a go-to team in Nashville, with Derek advising music luminaries like chart-topping songwriter-producer Ashley Gorley—whose credits include more than 85 No. 1 hits—and the estate of soul legend Otis Redding. Tiffany is noted for her work on complex copyright, trademark and intellectual property matters for leading music artists, including country superstar Luke Combs and the John R. Cash Revocable Trust.
