Loeb & Loeb Names Three Attorneys to Partnership

Loeb and Loeb LLP has added three lawyers to the firm partnership. Adam G. Kelly in the Chicago office; Ieuan Jolly in the New York office; and Gabrielle A. Vidal in the Los Angeles office have been promoted to partner. The firm has also promoted two associates to the position of Senior Counsel – Patrick N. Downes in the Los Angeles Litigation Department and Daniel M. Yarmish in the New York Trusts and Estates Department.

The following is brief biographical information about each of the firm’s new partners:

Ieuan Jolly advises on a wide variety of international privacy, technology and outsourcing matters, with a particular emphasis on regulatory issues such as multi-media marketing and data security. He is acknowledged in Chambers Global, Chambers USA, and The Legal 500 as a leading lawyer in the areas of Technology, Privacy and Data Security. He provides strategic direction on global privacy compliance programs, and specializes in advising clients on the cutting edge privacy implications of new communication strategies, specialized applications, media-specific regulations, location targeting, data usage and information sharing. In the technology arena, Mr. Jolly counsels clients on a range of complex technology transactions and sourcing arrangements, systems integration, telecommunications and data center transactions. Mr. Jolly received an LL.B. from the University of Bristol School of Law, and his Legal Practice Course from Nottingham Law School.

Adam G. Kelly practices in all areas of intellectual property law including patent and trademark prosecution, IP litigation and IP counseling. He litigates in the areas of pharmaceutical and agricultural science, biotechnology and chemical arts. Mr. Kelly’s experience includes handling Paragraph IV litigations under the Hatch-Waxman Act and advising pharmaceutical clients how to formulate legal strategies for their products and methods. He also provides strategic counseling, licensing and patent prosecution services to a wide variety of life science and biotechnology clients. Mr. Kelly received his J.D. from John Marshall Law School, an M.S. from Purdue University, and his B.A. from Indiana University.

Gabrielle A. Vidal concentrates her practice on trust, probate and conservatorship litigation, including will and trust contests, the obligations of fiduciaries such as trustees and executors, and conservatorship matters. Her principal clients include trust companies, individual trustees and beneficiaries, financial services companies and tax-exempt organizations. She serves on the Los Angeles County Association Bar Trusts and Estates Executive Committee. Ms. Vidal received her J.D. from Stanford Law School and her B.A. magna cum laude from Brown University.
