Loeb & Loeb Announces New Partners

Loeb & Loeb LLP announced that five associates have been named to the firm partnership. Kevin Eisenberg and Jeffrey Fried of the New York office and David Grossman, and Lawrence Venick of the Los Angeles office have all been promoted to partner.

Kevin Eisenberg (New York) represents a wide array of national senior lenders, second lien lenders, mezzanine debt funds, private equity funds and private equity sponsor groups in all types of financing transactions. He has extensive experience in structuring and closing various debt facilities including senior debt loans, subordinated debt loans, mezzanine loans, second lien loans and private investments in public equity (PIPEs). These financings are made in connection with recapitalizations, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.

Jeffrey Fried (New York) has worked on numerous asset-based financing and factoring transactions for major money center financial institutions and investment banks. He has been involved in providing exit financing to debtors and structuring acquisition facilities for purchasers of assets. Mr. Fried also represents equity sponsor groups and mezzanine lenders in private loan and equity transactions. In addition, Mr. Fried has experience in commercial real estate transactions and in the securitization of entertainment-related assets and various other structured finance transactions.

David Grossman’s (Los Angeles) practice focuses on intellectual property and business litigation. Mr. Grossman has represented a variety of clients in all aspects of litigation, including prosecuting and defending claims involving trademark and trade dress infringement, idea submission, false advertising, copyright infringement and unfair competition. Mr. Grossman also has extensive experience in litigating commercial business disputes and appeals in both federal and state courts.  

Lawrence Venick’s (Los Angeles) practice focuses on the representation of both public and private emerging growth companies, as well as financial institutions. His transactional experience includes venture capital financings, representing both issuers and investors; mergers and acquisitions, representing both acquirers and targets; public offerings of securities; debt financing transactions, including secured and unsecured loans and general corporate representation of public and private companies.
