Represented Sony Music and Ultra Records in Copyright Infringement Action Involving Master Recordings

Represented Sony Music Entertainment and its subsidiary, Ultra Records LLC, in an action brought by music publishers Payday Music Publishing (f/k/a Ultra International Music Publishing, LLC and Ultra Music Publishing Europe AG) alleging copyright infringement, among other claims, in connection with SME and other Sony entities’ release of more than 100 master recordings allegedly without obtaining the necessary licenses for the underlying compositions.
