Overview

Edward Delman maintains a multi-disciplinary practice focusing on high-stakes commercial litigation, intellectual property matters, and transactional work for live stage productions. As a litigator, Edward represents plaintiffs and defendants—in both state and federal court—across a wide range of matters, including copyright infringement, trademark infringement, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, real estate disputes, mass torts, and Sherman Act violations.  Edward also advises clients on resolving disputes before they reach the courthouse and provides analysis on sensitive copyright matters.

In addition to litigating, Edward is also an active member of the firm’s live stage practice, through which he represents studios, producers, authors, and artists at all stages of a theatrical work’s development.

Edward is a contributing writer for Loeb & Loeb’s IP/Entertainment Case Law Weekly Update for Content Creators, Owners and Distributors. Edward is committed to pro bono work and, among other successes, secured summary judgment on behalf of a trans man who was denied medical care at a state-owned hospital in Maryland.

Edward clerked for the Honorable Katherine Polk Failla of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
