Loeb Partner Carol Kaplan Named in 2025 “New York Women’s Impact Report” by Variety

Loeb & Loeb is pleased to share that Carol Kaplan, co-chair of the firm’s Theater & Live Entertainment practice, has been honored in Variety’s 2025 “New York Women’s Impact Report.” This annual award recognizes New York-based women shaping the future of the entertainment industry by overcoming its toughest challenges.

In an accompanying profile, Carol is lauded as a “top legal eagle.” Some of her recent representations include representing Netflix in its live stage projects such as Stranger Things: The First Shadow and Patriots and serving as production counsel for George Clooney’s Broadway play Good Night, and Good Luck.

Drawing on her past career in live theater, Carol has a deep understanding of the industry from both the artistic and legal angles. “Some clients who are new into producing find it very helpful because I can explain to them about the creative process, how it unfolds and the kind of bumps that you can encounter along the road,” she told the publication.
