Suspicious Minds: Tennessee Firms Scrutinise AI Soundalike Law

Loeb Litigation partner Tim Warnock is featured in Managing IP discussing the ELVIS Act, a law aimed at combating AI-generated impersonations of music artists' voices and likenesses, raising questions among lawyers about liability and fair use.

In the publication, Tim noted that he’s received a few questions from lawyers who advise artists about the bill.

“But it won’t take effect until July 1, so there hasn’t been a lot of activity in terms of litigation,” said Tim.
