National Law Journal Names Loeb & Loeb Partners Arash Khalili and Brian Socolow 2020 Sports & Entertainment Trailblazers

Loeb & Loeb LLP is proud to announce that partners Arash Khalili and Brian Socolow have been recognized by The National Law Journal as 2020’s Sports & Entertainment Trailblazers. In a special supplement to the October 2020 issue, Arash and Brian are profiled among a select group of  legal professionals who lead the sports and entertainment industries with their innovative practices and forward thinking.

Arash, who is a co-chair of the firm’s Sports practice, is recognized for his groundbreaking transactions related to the eSports realm including a deal between an eSports player and Adidas – the first of its kind. His efforts and advancements in this particular sector have opened a new door to never-before-seen possibilities, in addition to his established practice of representing world renowned athletes.

Brian, who is also co-chair of the firm's Sports practice, is acknowledged for his representation of the Electronic Games Federation in a deal with Disney and ESPN. Brian also represents DAZN, an over-the-top Sports streaming service, in various licensing deals and advises on electronic privacy, data, and monetization matters. He believes that the sports industry will continue to grow with the influence and advancements of technology and social media.
