IP attorneys have appeared slow to adopt social media tools as a way to enhance their practice and develop client relationships. Loeb & Loeb partner, Douglas Masters is quoted on the benefits that he has seen from using the social platforms, saying, “If I look at something that is interesting, it will take me 30 seconds to write a short headline and send it off to 4,500 people. There’s enough bang for my buck to do that.”  

"Clients are busy ... and I feel like I can be their eyes and ears and share this information if I think it's of benefit to them," he added.
