Risking Fan Disapproval, Owners Unanimously Support NBA Program to Sell Advertising on Game Jerseys

The National Basketball League expects to move forward with its plan to become the first of the four major U.S. sports leagues to allow sponsor advertising on game jerseys. This article provides an overview of the current proposal, program implementation and timing expectations, and feedback provided by both fans and league officials.
