Counsel to NCB,FSB in All Aspects of Loan Origination, Securitization, Servicing and Capital Markets Businesses

Represented National Consumer Cooperative Bank (an institution chartered by an act of the United States Congress in 1978 and later privatized) and its affiliate, NCB, FSB, in all aspects of their loan origination, securitization, servicing and capital markets businesses. This includes closing nearly 100 real estate loan transactions totaling approximately $300 million; the sale of approximately 125 loans totaling more than $400 million to Fannie Mae and other purchasers; the establishment of a $100 million REPO facility; the renegotiation of NCB, FSB’s sale and servicing agreements with Fannie Mae, pursuant to which the bank has sold and services over $3 billion in loans; the structuring and sale of senior participation interests in a pool of approximately 30 loans; and numerous loan servicing matters, including loan modifications, loan workouts and defeasance transactions.
