Counsel to First Major Professional Basketball League in the UK

Represented Premiere League Basketball, the first major professional basketball league in the UK, in connection with all financing and corporate matters related to the start-up. Loeb’s counsel included securing Premier’s primary television affiliation agreements with BT Sports and the Endemol Shine Group. In addition to their broadcast agreements, Loeb advised Premiere in connection with their footwear and apparel agreements. Premiere’s inaugural clubs launched in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham, Cardiff and Sheffield in the 2018 season.
