Represented Black Knight Sports and Entertainment in securing a National Hockey League expansion franchise in Las Vegas to be called the Golden Knights. The Loeb team counseled on all aspects of the expansion team agreements, venue contract, media rights and organizational agreements for the ownership group.
A cross-practice team from Loeb & Loeb LLP represented Black Knight Sports and Entertainment in securing a National Hockey League expansion franchise in Las Vegas to be called the Golden Knights. The new team will be the League’s 31st and the first major North American professional team to play in Las Vegas. The team is expected to begin play in the 2017-18 season in the state-of-the-art T-Mobile Arena, which opened just off the Las Vegas strip in April through a joint venture between AEG and MGM Resorts International. Loeb & Loeb LLP represented the team in negotiations with the arena.
