Overview

Sarina Saluja is a labor and employment litigator with more than a decade of experience representing employers of all sizes in a wide range of matters, including those involving discrimination claims, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations and wrongful termination, as well as workplace privacy, data security, unfair competition, and trade secret theft and corporate espionage. Sarina also counsels clients on employment matters.  

In addition to her litigation work. Sarina also focuses on litigation prevention and mitigation. Sarina conducts trainings and audits on all aspects of employment law and assists her clients in revising handbooks and other policies and practices to prevent further litigation. Sarina’s overriding goal is to help clients effectively manage their workforce and maintain their focus on successfully operating the business. 

Sarina also conducts independent and neutral workplace investigations for employers. Sarina is proficient at navigating investigations with complex facts and sensitive complaints, and has experience with claims such as discrimination, retaliation and harassment based on disability, pregnancy, age, medical condition, and race, whistle-blowing, violation of free speech, and labor law violations. Sarina is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) and has obtained a certificate in workplace investigations from AWI.

Sarina has represented clients throughout California, in both Superior Courts and United States District Court and before the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, the United States Department of Labor (DOL), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She has also successfully argued appeals before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Her clients include startups, national companies, and public entities in an array of industries including entertainment, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, advertising, hospitality, technology and transportation.
