Overview

Christine M. Rodriguez is an experienced commercial litigator who maintains a diverse practice representing public and private companies and individuals in complex commercial disputes in both state and federal courts, arbitration and mediation nationwide.

Christine has substantial experience litigating significant commercial disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of restrictive covenants, trade secret theft, executive compensation disputes, defamation and other commercial matters. She brings strategic judgment and extensive hands-on experience to lead matters through the full litigation lifecycle—from early claim assessment and drafting pleadings through motion practice, conducting discovery, trial and appeals. She has successfully navigated complex claims for clients in a variety of industries, including real estate, financial services, executive recruiting, utilities, shipping and logistics, specialty chemicals, electronic manufacturing services, food and beverage, mobile payment processing and consumer goods by leveraging her experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants and crafting practical, business-minded strategies aligned with her clients’ objectives.

A key component of Christine’s practice involves litigating disputes stemming from failed implementations of business software, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Her practice combines a nuanced understanding of the core pillars of high value technology projects—project governance, change management, and system architecture and mechanics—with extensive experience handling claims for monetary and injunctive relief, often on behalf of clients facing operational disruption and financial losses. She regularly represents clients in disputes involving cloud based and on-premises implementations of SAP S/4HANA, as well as comparable business software solutions and also counsels clients undertaking technological and organizational transformations.
