“What is legal in one state might be illegal in another, which makes enforcing the right of publicity really, really complicated,” said Lisa. 

Nerissa adds, "For now, I think that we are going to continue to have this patchwork of laws out there, and even probably larger patchwork as different state laws are passed that deal with AI and politics and AI and deepfake [adult content].”
