Inland Counties Legal Services Recognizes Sasha Bass for Her Pro Bono Contributions

Loeb & Loeb senior counsel Sasha Bass is featured in Inland Counties Legal Services' (ICLS’) gratitude corner as a part of their monthly newsletter for her dedication to pro bono work.

Sasha, an active pro bono volunteer at ICLS, has played a pivotal role in developing training and health care forms for the newly established Advanced Healthcare Directive Clinic. The clinic is a first-of-its-kind for ICLS and is dedicated to assisting both seniors and LGBTQ+ residents in obtaining their Advance Healthcare Directives (AHCDs). She has volunteered countless hours to refining the AHCD forms and trainings that will help empower low-income and vulnerable populations in the San Bernardino and Riverside Counties areas take control of their healthcare choices.

In the newsletter, Sasha commented, "Honestly, the best part of any pro bono matter is the client," Sasha said. "Getting to know my clients at the recent LGBTQ+ Advance Healthcare Clinic, learning what they wanted and what worried them, and seeing their relief when they knew their wishes now had the force of the law behind them–it’s why lawyers do pro bono work, and it never gets old."
