Loeb & Loeb Appoints Rachel Harris Chair of International Trusts and Estates Planning Practice

LOS ANGELES – Loeb & Loeb LLP announced today that partner Rachel J. Harris has been appointed chair of the firm’s International Trusts and Estates Planning Practice, bringing more than 13 years of experience to the position.

“International estate planning is a growing area of focus for our preeminent trusts and estates team and Rachel is one of the leading practitioners in this area,” said Bruce J. Wexler, chair of Loeb & Loeb’s Trusts and Estates Department. “Under Rachel’s stewardship, I am confident that the depth and breadth of our practice will continue to expand in jurisdictional coverage and expertise.”

Loeb & Loeb’s International Trusts and Estates Planning Practice provides advice to U.S. citizens, residents and non-U.S. citizens in connection with tax, trust and succession planning matters that have both U.S. and non-U.S. aspects. Attorneys in the practice have extensive experience working with clients throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

She is admitted to practice in California, New York, and England and Wales.  

Harris earned a LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from Yale Law School and an A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard University. She has been recognized for her talent in Citywealth magazine’s “Leaders List” for the 2013 and 2014 editions.
