Loeb & Loeb LLP Music Industry partner Debra (Debbie) White represented Melanie Martinez – former contestant on NBC’s hit vocal competition series The Voice – in securing and negotiating a recording agreement with Atlantic Records. She also provides ongoing counsel to past contestants with respect to their emerging careers. Late last year, Ms. White negotiated Martinez’ deal with Warner/Chappell Publishing, and she has also handled recent recording and publishing deals for season 4 finalists, The Swon Brothers, as well as other artists that have achieved rising success since competing on the show.
