Loeb & Loeb Raises a Total of $150,000 for Victims of Hurricane Katrina

Loeb & Loeb LLP announced today that, in total, the law firm’s attorneys and staff have donated $150,000 to those in need after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Shortly after Katrina struck, Loeb & Loeb agreed to match with two dollars every employee dollar donated to the victims of the hurricanes.

Donations were distributed to the American Red Cross 2005 Hurricane Relief Fund, and $25,000 was donated to the “From the Big Apple to the Big Easy” benefit concert held in New York City on September 20.

“Our hearts went out to the people who needed help after these natural disasters,” said Loeb & Loeb’s Chief Financial Officer, Jerry Post. “I did not need to persuade our partners that matching employee donations would be a good way to quickly raise funding for assistance.”
