In this inaugural program we will review the highlights of 2018 regulatory developments for tax-exempt organizations and flag some issue areas that nonprofit in-house counsel need to be mindful of in the coming year. Topics will include published IRS/Treasury guidance, aspects of Tax Reform legislation and related implementation efforts, and significant court decisions from 2018. We also will debrief on the 2018 midterm elections, focusing on the activities of tax-exempt organizations and corresponding compliance and oversight.
