Overview:

The goal of the "Creators vs. Consumers" conference is to bring IP scholars into conversation with prominent figures from the bench, bar, industry, advocacy groups, and the media -- all of whom grapple with IP issues in the course of their professional work.

In addition to a keynote address by Tim Wu of Columbia Law School, the conference will consist of four sessions, each of which will be devoted to a separate topic (Trademarks, Patents, Copyrights, and New Frontiers of IP). Each session will feature the presentation of research by a scholar followed by commentary.
