Loeb Receives Two “Deal of the Year” Recognitions at Los Angeles Business Journal’s M&A Awards for 2026

Loeb & Loeb is pleased to share that the firm has been named the winner of two “Deal of the Year” awards in the $100 million – $500 million category and the under $100 million category at the 2026 M&A Awards by the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ). Now in its second year, the awards spotlight transformative transactions and the professionals behind them, recognizing excellence across Southern California's M&A landscape. 

LABJ’s M&A Awards recognize firms across a range of deal categories, including the mid-market category for M&A transactions valued from $100 million to $500 million, in which the firm was honored. The firm earned the “Deal of the Year” recognition for its representation of Alcon Media Group in connection with the acquisition of a film library, derivative rights and studio business assets from Village Roadshow Entertainment, valued at $417.5 million. In addition, the firm earned the “Deal of the Year” recognition for its representation of Techni-Cast LLC in its acquisition by Wieland North America, Inc. in the under $100 million category, a complex transaction involving both the acquisition of the company and the purchase of the real estate supporting its manufacturing operations. 

This year's awards gala was held on Sept. 10, 2026, in Los Angeles.
