Overview

Keane Barger is a litigator dedicated to providing sound advice to his clients and solving their most complex problems. 

He focuses his practice on intellectual property and entertainment litigation, including copyright, trademark, right of publicity, and defamation disputes. He has successfully represented clients through all phases of litigation before state and federal courts throughout the country, as well as arbitral panels and the Copyright Royalty Board. Among a diverse set of clients, he has served as litigation counsel for major and independent music publishing and recording companies; prominent pop and country artists; performing rights organizations; motion picture companies; a major professional sports franchise; and an acclaimed videogame composer and sound designer. Keane also has extensive experience representing clients in complex commercial litigation in other industries, including the healthcare and financial services sectors. On a pro bono basis, Keane has successfully advocated for Medicaid patients who have been denied medically necessary care.
