Loeb Real Estate Deputy Chair Paul Rohrer on Market Forces Driving ESG

Loeb Real Estate deputy chair Paul Rohrer is quoted in Law360 Pulse discussing the impact of board changes and market conditions on real estate environmental, social and governance (ESG) investment decisions.

In a statement to the publication, Paul explained that prevailing market trends and interest in ESG among investors often determine strategy more than a fund board's ideology. "It's easy for members to have different opinions. I do believe that all of those opinions are going to get shaped by the market," Paul said. He went on to add, "Whatever their opinion is at this moment will get shaped by the market."
