New York, NY (June 29, 2026) – Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of Ryan McCaffrey as partner in the New York office.
McCaffrey brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate and financial services. He is a trusted advisor to developers, lenders and investors, representing clients in everything from the capitalization and financing of projects to the successful execution of buying, entitling, building, managing, leasing and selling real estate, and restructuring debt secured by real estate. With deep experience working across the full life cycle of real estate projects, McCaffrey brings a practical understanding of both the capital structures that fund projects and the business considerations that drive their success.
“Ryan deepens our sophisticated real estate transactional bench and enhances our ability to advise on complex financing and development deals,” said Raymond A. Sanseverino, chair of Loeb’s Real Estate department. “His ideal combination of transactional skills and understanding of real estate finance complexities will greatly benefit our clients.”
Over the course of his legal career, McCaffrey spent more than a decade as chief legal officer of Post Brothers, a leading real estate development company, where he advised on the full life cycle of real estate investments, providing counsel on a broad range of transactional, operational and business matters, and did his part to help grow the company’s portfolio from a few assets to over $5 billion in assets.
“It’s exciting to join Loeb & Loeb, and I admire the firm’s continued commitment to strategic growth in both real estate and finance,” said McCaffrey. “I look forward to helping clients navigate the evolving real estate finance market and partnering across the firm on complex, business-critical transactions.”
“Ryan is a great fit for our growing lender client base who require top-tier advice on real estate transactions,” said Peter Seiden, chair of the firm’s Finance department. “He will be a valuable resource to major financial institutions engaging in sophisticated transactions during a dynamic market environment.”
McCaffrey earned his J.D. from the Notre Dame Law School and his B.A. from the University of Richmond. He joins from Adler & Stachenfeld LLP. Prior to his time at Post Brothers, McCaffrey was a real estate associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where he also served as a member of Sullivan & Cromwell’s commercial real estate training committee, teaching various continuing education classes on structured finance, financing ground leases and emerging case law in the real estate market place.
McCaffrey is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at both the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the University of Notre Dame Law School.
