Sue Paik

Sue Paik represents and advises clients on a broad range of commercial transactions and issues related to technology and intellectual property licensing, digital media and marketing, and emerging technologies, with a focus on data and adtech solutions. She regularly drafts and negotiates inbound and outbound software, platform, and data licensing agreements. Sue has worked with clients ranging from advertisers, advertising agencies, publishers, and global media and technology companies to financial institutions and automotive manufacturers.  

Previously, Sue served as an associate general counsel on the Sales and Growth legal team at Tubi, Inc., advising on commercial and technology transactions supporting the company’s global ad sales and user growth initiatives. She negotiated insertion orders as well as complex digital advertising, adtech, data licensing and measurement vendor agreements and worked closely with Tubi’s Partner Sales team to expand Tubi’s programmatic partnerships. 

Before joining Tubi, Sue served as an assistant general counsel on the Technology and IP legal team at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where she structured and negotiated global technology transactions in support of the bank’s Consumer & Community Banking, Commercial Banking, and Corporate & Investment Bank business units. She also advised on cutting-edge initiatives involving blockchain, digital assets, quantum computing and other emerging technologies and negotiated a variety of agreements in support of the bank’s marketing initiatives, including sponsorship and talent and influencer agreements.
