A Loeb & Loeb team received a shout‑out in the Am Law Litigation Daily’s “Litigator of the Week: Runners‑Up and Shout‑Outs” column for securing a significant appellate victory on behalf of TPG in long‑running litigation stemming from the 2006 recapitalization of Greece‑based Hellas Telecommunications.
In a decision issued by New York’s Appellate Division on May 5, 2026, the court dismissed one of the last remaining lawsuits related to the transaction, holding that the plaintiff, Cortlandt Street Recovery Corp., “failed to state a valid fraud claim because it did not allege any actionable misrepresentations.”
