Loeb & Loeb is pleased to share that the firm represented renowned music executive Cindy Mabe in the launch of Joan of Arc Music, a new Nashville-based entertainment company focused on preserving the legacy of country music while advancing its future through artist development, label services, publishing, management, TV/film production, emerging technologies and philanthropic initiatives.
After decades at the helm of major labels, Cindy set out to build something entirely her own—an independent, artist-forward enterprise grounded in collaboration, equity and long-term creative development. Joan of Arc Music brings together recorded music, publishing and artist services under a single umbrella, positioning the company as a disruptor in an industry historically dominated by legacy structures and paradigms.
Joan of Arc Music is structured around four pillars: Joan of Arc Entertainment, encompassing artist management, recorded music, label services and publishing; Joan of Arc Studio Works, focused on TV/film production and content creation; Joan of Arc Ventures, dedicated to strategic investments and equity partnerships; and the Joan of Arc Music Preservation Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm supporting initiatives across the enterprise. In addition, Joan of Arc Music has entered into a distribution partnership with Warner Records Nashville.
Loeb worked alongside Cindy and her team from the ground up, helping transform her vision into a business—including advice on structuring the corporate organization of her business, advising on branding, to negotiating the company’s distribution partnership with Warner Records Nashville, along with other artist management and record deals. This work reflects Loeb’s role as a strategic partner in building the legal, operational and creative infrastructure underlying Joan of Arc Music’s long-term growth.
As Joan of Arc Music launches with a mission centered on elevating women, fostering artistic independence and driving meaningful change within the industry, Loeb remains a trusted advisor as the company grows and scales its platform. The representation underscores the firm’s ongoing commitment to supporting visionary founders, innovative entertainment ventures and clients who are shaping the future of their industries.
The Loeb & Loeb team was led by Loeb Co-Chair Arash Khalili and Mike Grossman, deputy chair of the Capital Markets & Corporate department, and included Anne Kennedy McGuire, deputy chair of the Entertainment department and chair of the Podcast industry group, Entertainment associate Colleen Kelley, Bess Morgan, deputy chair of the Brand Protection practice, Diara Holmes, co-chair of the Nonprofits & Tax-Exempt Organizations department, and Corporate associate Camila Piedrahita Abello.
