Loeb & Loeb represented Automation Group, a California-based system integrator specializing in automation, robotics and cybersecurity, in its acquisition by E Tech Group, one of the largest industrial automation firms in the United States. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Following the acquisition, Automation Group will operate under the name "Automation Group, an E Tech Group Company." Automation Group’s 12 locations are spread throughout northern and southern California, as well as Denver, Dallas-Fort Worth, Indianapolis and Williamsburg, Virginia. Together, the combined company is one of the largest independent automation engineering and system integration firms in North America, with approximately 30 locations and 600 team members.
The Loeb deal team advising Automation Group in the transaction included Capital Markets & Corporate partner Allan Duboff, associates Harrison Finch and Marina Ahmad, and staff attorney Mary Costa; Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits partner Michael Gerald; and Tax partner Ryan Austin.
