Alexander Loh

Alexander Loh's practice centers on complex commercial litigation for clients in the sports and entertainment industries, with a particular emphasis on intellectual property disputes involving copyright and trademark infringement, rights of publicity and false advertising. He represents professional athletes, sports franchises and leagues, music publishers, record labels, film and television producers, and podcast distributors in matters ranging from pre-litigation risk assessment through dispositive motion practice, trial preparation and settlement negotiations.
 
Alexander's litigation experience informs his transactional practice, where he advises clients on structuring deals that minimize litigation exposure and anticipate potential disputes. His transactional practice includes counseling professional and college athletes, collectives, brands and agencies on name, image and likeness deals, endorsement agreements, sponsorships, sports betting and gambling law compliance, and NCAA compliance matters, including revenue-sharing and salary cap issues. He also formulates clearance strategies for film and television projects, including conducting pre-release copyright fair use assessments and identifying potential claims related to filming locations.
 
Alexander maintains an active white collar defense practice, representing corporations and individuals in fraud and accounting matters, as well as guiding them through sensitive investigative proceedings initiated by the SEC and DOJ. He also represents nonprofits in litigation and internal investigations, working with boards and leadership to address allegations of charitable asset misuse, conflicts of interest and governance failures.

Outside the office, Alexander enjoys traveling with his wife and staying active through pickup basketball and soccer, and is an avid follower of the New York Knicks and Arsenal FC.
