Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce that Entertainment Labor Chair Ivy Kagan Bierman has been honored in Variety’s 2025 “Women’s Impact Report” for Los Angeles. This annual recognition spotlights women who have made a powerful impact across Hollywood over the past year—guiding the industry through a challenging season of layoffs, political uncertainty, major mergers, runaway production and the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI).
In an accompanying profile, Ivy is highlighted for her pioneering work at the intersection of entertainment and technology, guiding AI innovators like Flawless AI in their collaborations with unions and guilds. She is also recognized as a leading voice shaping how emerging technologies and creative labor intersect in Hollywood’s evolving landscape.
“My role is to ensure that the clients that my team and I work with understand the AI provisions in the guild and union agreements,” Ivy told Variety. “It’s a bit tricky because those are new provisions, so they’re subject to different interpretations.”
