Three Loeb Partners Honored in 2025 “Entertainment Business Visionaries” List by LA Times Studios

Loeb & Loeb is proud to announce that Arash Khalili, co-chair of the firm; Scott Edel, chair of the firm’s Entertainment department; and Entertainment Labor Chair Ivy Kagan Bierman have been named in the 2025 “Entertainment Business Visionaries” list by The Envelope, a magazine published by the LA Times Studios. The award spotlights advisors who have exhibited exceptional acumen and achievements across a broad range of responsibilities, delivering impactful leadership and valuable contributions to the Southern California entertainment business community.

In an accompanying profile, Arash is lauded for steering complex deals across the entertainment, sports and consumer industries, having advised numerous athletes, artists, influencers, production companies and global brands, including Morgan Wallen, Carrie Underwood, Cindy Crawford, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Lionel Richie and Reggie Bush. Among his recent notable representations includes advising the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee on Salt Lake City’s successful 2034 Winter Olympics bid. 

Scott is recognized in his profile as a “business-first negotiator” whose practice spans film, television, gaming, and music. His recent representations include negotiating deals for Alcon Entertainment’s Blade Runner 2099 television miniseries, Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda film, and Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 television series with Amazon. He is also noted for representing Artists Equity—founded by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon—on its film slate.

Ivy is highlighted as a nationally recognized entertainment labor attorney and thought leader known for guiding studios, networks, digital platforms and production companies through complex guild and union matters and promoting good workplace cultures. She is noted for providing strategic counsel to clients such as Warner Bros. Animation, STX, BuzzFeed and Flawless AI.
