Loeb & Loeb Grows In Hong Kong With Two Corporate Finance Partners

Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of Shirley Lau and Polly Liu to the firm’s Hong Kong office as partners in the Capital Markets and Corporate department.

Lau and Liu both focus on securities and corporate finance transactions. They advise clients on public offerings, compliance matters related to The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the Code on Takeovers and Mergers, as well as general corporate matters. Additionally, Lau and Liu both negotiate and structure public and private mergers and acquisitions transactions.

“Shirley and Polly have extensive experience advising clients on substantial corporate and securities transactions,” says Lawrence Venick, managing partner of Loeb & Loeb’s Hong Kong and Beijing offices. “We are thrilled to continue to expand our Hong Kong offerings and the cross-border transactional work we are doing for our clients.”

Lau earned her LLB and Post Graduate Certificate in Laws from University of Hong Kong and her Master of Commerce (Tax) from University of New South Wales. Liu earned her LLB / B. COMM from Monash University, attended the College of Law, Sydney, Australia, and earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Laws from University of Hong Kong. Lau and Liu both join Loeb & Loeb from Lau, Horton & Wise LLP.
