The Pulse of Loeb & Loeb’s Asia Practice: 2021 Review

In 2021, as the world navigated through the second full year of the pandemic, Loeb & Loeb’s Asia practice remained resilient, handling a large array of transactions and matters and staying connected to its clients and team members across the globe. Over the course of 2021, our team in the Asia offices continued to represent clients in a wide range of areas, including capital markets, corporate, commercial finance, intellectual property, litigation and dispute resolution. The firm is pleased to present a review of our Asia team’s achievements, successes and highlights from the past year.

“With a resident—and growing—team of lawyers in Asia and a deep bench of multicultural and multilingual professionals firmwide who are focused on serving clients with interests in the Asia-Pacific region, we continue to offer the local knowledge and international resources to bridge East and West,” said Lawrence Venick, managing partner of the firm’s Hong Kong and Beijing offices.

In addition to the variety of matters and transactions completed by the Asia practice, in April 2021, we welcomed Lynia Lau as a partner in our Hong Kong office. An established lawyer in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors, Lynia has over 30 years of experience in cross-border M&A transactions and project development–, project finance– and government regulatory– related matters.
