Her practice focuses on intellectual property counseling and transactional matters, as well as brand marketing and regulatory compliance. Morgan’s move comes as the office relocates this fall from Hillsboro Village back to Music Row into the brand new building at 35 Music Square East – home to the Country Music Association and SESAC, the performing rights organization.

“Bess’s depth of knowledge in the IP, branding and marketing space will enhance the capabilities of the tight-knit and specialized team we have here in Nashville,” said Loeb & Loeb’s Nashville Office Manager of Administration Tiffany Dunn, a partner in the firm’s nationally recognized Entertainment Department. “This addition underscores Loeb’s commitment to the city’s continued growth and to our clients shaping the ‘New Nashville’ that now offers a thriving startup scene and numerous opportunities for established businesses across sectors.”

She is also experienced in negotiating and drafting a variety of intellectual property-related agreements, including assignment, license, co-existence and settlement agreements.

Morgan represents clients from a variety of industries, including media, entertainment, television, technology, manufacturing, hospitality, apparel, health, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage. In addition to her intellectual property practice, she advises clients on brand promotion, advertising and marketing and compliance with applicable federal and state guidelines. Clients also rely on her counsel regarding compliance with FTC endorsement guidelines, and conducting contest, raffle and sweepstakes promotions.

Morgan was previously an associate at McDermott Will & Emery LLP. She earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.

Loeb & Loeb’s Intellectual Property Protection Practice is an integral component of the firm’s nationally recognized Advanced Media and Technology Department, which delivers a comprehensive approach to anticipating, analyzing and addressing the many legal issues facing domestic and foreign companies as they employ and adapt branding, advertising, emerging media and technology to meet their strategic goals.
